How to Pay with Cryptocurrency via NOWPayments

Follow these simple steps when you’re ready to place an order:

1. Add Items to Cart & Proceed to Checkout
   • Select the Apple product(s) you want and click Checkout.
   • Fill in your shipping details (name, address, email, phone number).
2. Choose “Pay with Crypto” as Your Payment Method
   • On the Payment Method screen, select Cryptocurrency (NOWPayments).
   • Click Continue to Payment.
3. Select Your Crypto Coin
   • A NOWPayments widget will appear, showing the current cryptocurrency rates and a dropdown menu of supported coins.
   • Choose the coin you wish to use (e.g., BTC, ETH, USDT). The widget will automatically calculate the exact amount of crypto equivalent to your order’s USD total.
4. Generate a Payment Address
   • Click Generate Invoice (or Pay Now). NOWPayments generates a unique wallet address (and QR code) for your transaction.
   • You’ll see a countdown timer (usually 15–20 minutes) indicating how long the invoice remains valid at the quoted rate.
5. Send Your Payment
   • From your personal crypto wallet (mobile, desktop, or hardware), send the exact amount displayed to the provided address.
   • If using a mobile wallet, scan the QR code. If using a desktop wallet, copy and paste the address.
6. Wait for Blockchain Confirmation
   • Once you broadcast the transaction, the blockchain typically confirms it within a few minutes (depending on network congestion). NOWPayments will monitor the blockchain and automatically detect your payment.
   • You will see a “Payment Confirmed” notice in the NOWPayments widget (and receive a confirmation email).
7. Order Confirmation & Shipping
   • After NOWPayments confirms the payment, we receive the notification and begin processing your order.
   • You’ll receive an email with your order and shipping confirmations, including the China Post tracking number. Delivery remains the standard 2–3 weeks.

Important: If the blockchain network is congested, confirmations may take up to an hour. Always confirm that you sent the correct amount to the exact address. Underpayments or overpayments can result in delayed or partial orders, so double-check before sending.

Payment Security & Privacy

No Sensitive Banking Data Needed: You only need to send crypto from your wallet. We never see or store your private wallet keys.

Immutable Transactions: Once you send the crypto, the transaction is final on the blockchain; chargebacks are not possible. This reduces fraud risk for both you and us.

Invoice Expiry Protection: The invoice amount is locked for a limited time (15–20 minutes). If you miss that window, simply return to checkout and generate a fresh invoice at the current rate.

Handling Price Fluctuations

Cryptocurrency values can shift quickly. Here’s how we manage price stability:

Fixed
 USD Total at Checkout: Your order total is always calculated in USD. When you choose a crypto coin, NOWPayments immediately quotes the equivalent coin amount based on real-time exchange rates.

Invoice Validity Window: The quoted coin amount remains fixed for 15–20 minutes (as shown by the countdown timer). If you don’t pay within that timeframe, the invoice expires, and you’ll need to generate a new one to reflect current rates.

Real-Time Rate Data: NOWPayments uses multiple liquidity providers and exchanges to ensure you get accurate mid-market rates, with only a small network fee embedded.

Refunds in Cryptocurrency

If you return eligible products under our Return Policy, we’ll refund you in the same cryptocurrency you initially used:

Exchange Rate Basis: Refunds are calculated based on the USD purchase price at the time of your original order, then converted to the same coin at the prevailing USD-to-crypto rate at refund processing time.

Refund Timing: Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds are processed within 5 business days. Depending on blockchain network conditions, the refund transaction may take 1–3 business days to appear in your wallet.

Partial Returns/Exchanges: If you return only part of your order, we refund the proportional USD-to-crypto equivalent for the returned item(s), minus any shipping or restocking fees as applicable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I pay with multiple cryptocurrencies in a single order?

• Currently, each invoice via NOWPayments supports only a single coin. If you want to split payment across two coins, you must place two separate orders or complete one order and then request a custom invoicing arrangement from Customer Support.

What if my payment doesn’t confirm?

• First, check the blockchain explorer for your chosen coin using the transaction ID (TXID) you received from your wallet. If it’s not confirming, the network might be congested. Contact us if you’re still unsure, and we can verify whether NOWPayments has detected your transaction.

Are there any hidden fees?

• We do not charge extra fees beyond the product price. NOWPayments may charge a small network fee (usually 0.5–2% of the transaction) that’s already included in the quoted coin amount at checkout. No additional markups or processing fees are applied by us.

Can I use a custodial exchange wallet (e.g., Binance, Coinbase) to pay?

• Yes. If your exchange wallet supports withdrawals in the coin you select, simply withdraw the exact amount to the NOWPayments address. Keep in mind that some exchanges charge withdrawal fees be sure to account for that so the recipient address receives the full invoice amount.

What happens if the invoice expires before I pay?

• In that case, the quoted coin amount is no longer valid. Return to the shopping cart, re-generate a new invoice via NOWPayments, and pay that updated address/amount. The USD total remains unchanged.
